Backcountry Film Festival?
The film festival is approximately 90
minutes long. It is presented on 2 DVD’s, each approximately 45 minutes in
length. This allows the host to create an intermission.
2. Can I
show the Backcountry Film Festival more than once?
Yes, you can
have multiple showing of the film festival, each additional showing is $50.00.
3. Who can host the Backcountry Film Festival?
Anyone
can host the Backcountry Film Festival. If you are not a non-profit group we ask
that you return all proceeds to a local like-minded winter conservation
organization or back to Winter Wildlands Alliance.
4. Can I pre
sell tickets for my event?
Yes, we encourage hosts to offer presale
tickets. Brown Paper Tickets is
an excellent low cost way to pre-sale tickets for your event.

Can I host the Backcountry Film Festival outside the US?
Yes, we
love to see our film festival growing in communities outside the states.
6. Other fundraising ideas?
Selling donated beer or food
(if your venue allows this) is an excellent way to raise extra funds. Gathering
donated raffle items from your local gear shops or community partners also bring
in extra dollars and a fun component to the festival, and is a great way to
partner with local businesses. After Parties continue the celebration and have
become a popular idea to meet up with your local backcountry community.
